1) ELECTRIC MOTOR
It is a cylindrical rotor type and it is produced with one pole for the 1-hoisting speed chain blocks and with 2 poles for the 2-hoisting speed chain blocks. The insulation is achieved in class F for the 1-speed chain blocks, in class H for the 2-speed chain blocks. The jogging is of the 40% for the 1-speed chain blocks and of the 20+20% for the 2-speed chain blocks. Three-phase feed: 230/400 - Hz 50. On request chain blocks that fit to any voltage are supplied.

2) REDUCTION GEAR
The reduction gear is of the epicycloid type and it is designed in such a way that the chain block speed may be easily changed, by increasing or decreasing the number of the components (gears), which are made of high tensile steel and lubricated with permanent type grease (Molicote). The reduction unit, constructed in highly resistant steel, is subjected to hardening and casehardening treatment, thereby guaranteeing its durability over time. The reduction gear does not need any maintenance or additional lubricant.

3) LOADING WARF
It ensures a perfect housing and pull of the chain: it is made of completely worked spheroidal graphite cast iron and it undergoes a special wearproof heat treatment so that the wharve hardness is greater than the chain one.

4) CHAIN GUIDE
The new RWM hoist is the only hoist with chain guide machined from the central body casing and is therefore constructed from one single piece. This ensures precise sliding and housing of the chain in the pits of the pulling wharve.

CHAIN
It is made of special high tensile steel with a high dynamic stability. It has a minimum breaking factor of safety for the load of the 10%. It is superficially hardened and then it undergoes a hotgalvanizing treatment which prevents the oxidation in time.

5) CLUTCH
The clutch is a safety device which limits both the max. upstroke and the max. downstroke, replacing the traditional electric limit switches. It is used also as a limiting device for the overloads. It consists of two plates, which are made of asbestos-free cushioned material and are pushed between themselves by means of Belleville washers, and does not need any maintenance. (It is advisable not to beat frequently at the end of the stroke both upwards and downwards.)

6) BALANCER
It consists of a round steel piece with a diameter according to the kind of chain block used to obtain a perfectly horizontal line of the chain block.

7) MOTOR BRAKE
It consists of an electromagnet which is assembled at the end of the driving shaft and it brakes by means of two steel plates. The braking unit, working on two faces simultaneously, allows an immediate and safe breaking.

8) SUSPENSION
The standard suspension is always equipped with the eyebolt (eyelet).
